Kyber does not collect, store off your device, share or sell any personal data. There are no accounts, no analytics, no advertising and no tracking. Kyber makes no network requests of its own.
What Kyber uses on your device, and why
- Motion (iPhone and Apple Watch). Kyber reads your device's motion sensors to play swing and clash sounds as you move. Motion readings are used live and then discarded. They are never saved or sent anywhere.
- HealthKit workouts (Apple Watch). While a blade is lit, Kyber runs a workout session so the watch keeps the app running and reading motion when you lower your wrist. Kyber reads no health data. The only thing it writes is that workout session, which you can see or delete in the Health app at any time. HealthKit data is never used for advertising or shared with anyone.
- Camera (iPhone, optional). One hidden feature shows the live view from the back camera through a starfighter cockpit window. The image is only displayed on screen. It is never recorded, saved or transmitted. If you deny access, Kyber shows a starfield instead.
- Settings. Your preferences (selected crystal, effects, volume and so on) are saved on your device only.
